This is by far our most-requested massage. Developed over the years as we have learned and added new techniques, it has today evolved into the Signature Massage at DWM. It's a combination of Swedish, deep tissue and other special and proprietary techniques skillfully customized to the individual needs of each client.

This is the classic "feel good" technique that has probably introduced more people to massage than any other--and for good reason. It's long soothing strokes and gentle kneading and percussion are very nurturing and relaxing. It can also be applied with deeper pressure to be more therapeutic.

This therapeutic style of massage generally involves the use of firmer pressure and techniques that go deeper into the muscles. Clients request "deep tissue" when they want relief from aches and pains associated with stiff, tight, sore, overworked or injured muscles. Correctly done it can aid the body in its natural healing ability.

As the name implies, this is a very light-touch massage generally done with longer strokes and brushing using the fingertips. It interacts with the nervous system in a different way than firmer touch does and can induce very deep relaxation. It is only an occasional client who requests this style, but those who do tend to be very fond of it.
