A full comprehensive body treatment that combines different massage modalities and is custom designed to meet your specific needs based an interview with your therapist. Uses long soothing strokes, gentle kneading, active and passive movements of the muscles to deliver the ultimate state of relaxation as well as concentrating on stubborn knots or areas of chronic tension.

Classic massage, which is also referred to as Swedish massage, is the most commonly offered and best known type of massage. It was developed by Swedish physiologist, Henri Peter Ling at the University of Stockholm in 1812. It uses firm but gentle pressure to improve the circulation, ease muscle aches and tension, improve flexibility and create relaxation.
The therapist uses massage oil to facilitate making long, smooth strokes over the body. Swedish massage is done with the person covered by a sheet, a technique called "draping". One part of the body uncovered, massaged, and then covered up before moving on to another part of the body.

Aromatherapy massage is massage therapy with highly concentrated plant oils, called essential oils, added to the massage oil or lotion. We have a wide variety of essential oils that can be used individually or combined. Each has different healing properties. Some calm while others energize. Here are some widely used essential oils and their properties:

Thai massage is believed to have been developed by Jivaka Kumarbhaccha, physician to Buddha, more than 2,500 years ago in India. It made its way to Thailand, where the Ayurvedic techniques and principles gradually became influenced by traditional Chinese medicine. For centuries, Thai massage was performed by monks as one component of Thai medicine.

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage because the therapist uses their hands, knees, legs and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work. Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are also used during treatment. People describe Thai massage as both relaxing and energizing.

Thai massage is performed on a padded mat on the floor. No oil is applied and you are fully dressed and are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the massage.
