Hot Stone
Stone massage is a unique connection we experience with nature, offering a sense of profoundness and sacredness that we too often forget. It's a deep healing and unique moment that enhances our awareness and brings us closer to our true essence. It is the perfect treatment that is as enjoyable and healing for the client as it is for the practitioner.
Stone massage involves the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. The direct heat relaxes muscles, allowing manipulation of a greater intensity than with regular massage.

Trigger-Point Therapy
Trigger-Point Therapy are areas of soft tissue in the body characterized by local pain, tightness, and tenderness. Often trigger points develop because of referred pain, or pain from another source that has manifested itself in a trigger point. Trigger points rarely refer pain to other areas. Trigger-point therapy seeks first to identify trigger points, then apply steady, appropriate pressure to the point to "release" it. This is usually followed by massage to the surrounding area to help treat the cause of the trigger point. Clients are encouraged to drink a lot of water following a trigger-point therapy session to flush out any toxins released when the trigger point is released.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy uses essential oils that have been used since ancient times to cleanse the body, strengthen the immune system and release tension. Extracted from the petals, leaves, roots and resin of plants, these essential oils can provide an effective therapy when used in inhalations, vaporizers, compresses and massage. Aromatherapy involves the "burning" of essential oils to elicit a desired effect; for example, lavendar is known to induce calmness and relaxation. When combined with bodywork, aromatherapy can enrich the massage experience immensely. A few drops of essential oil can be added to massage cream or oil and applied to the skin.

Shiatsu; Energy Massage
Zen Shiatsu is a form of bodywork, a manipulation administered by thumbs, fingers, palms and elbows without the use of any instruments, in which sustained comfortable pressure is applied to all parts of the body on specific acupuncture points, which are situated on the energy meridians (energy channels). The receiver remains clothed for the treatment and no oil is used for the massage. The work is done on a mat on the floor or on the table.

Acupressure
Acupressure is an ancient form of healing believed by some to be even older than acupuncture. It involves the use of the fingers (and in some cases, the toes) to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural ability to heal itself. Pressing on these points relieves muscle tension, which promotes the circulation of blood and qi (pronounced "chee") -- the vital energy or "life force" -- to aid in the healing process.

Thai Massage
Thai Massage or Ancient massage is a method of aligning the energies of the body. It is similar to acupressure and Shiatsu combined with stretching. It decreases muscle tension, increases range of motion, balances energy, protects against disease and increases body awareness.

Reflexology
Reflexology is defined as the art and science of stimulating the body’s own healing forces based on the principles that reflex points in the hands and feet are related to every organ in the body. This technique is based on a system of points on the hands, feet and ears that correspond, or "reflex," to other areas of the body. Similar in theory to acupressure, reflexologists believe that applying appropriate pressure to these points stimulates the flow of energy, thus helping to relieve pain or blockages throughout the entire body. A very pleasurable form of bodywork, reflexology is also used to ease stress and promote relaxation.
