Portrait 3 - Intensive Treatment is a one time (1x) treatment used to reduce rhytids; moderate to severe wrinkles. It also tightens sagging skin around jowl line, cheeks, eyelids, and other body parts. Improves skin texture, pore reduction, rhytides, and has been used for superficial skin lesions, actinic keratosis, seborrhoeic keratosis and viral papillomata.

Results comparable to light and medium CO2 Skin Resurfacing, but without the pain and lengthy downtime required for recovery since the Portrait is Non-Ablative.

A topical anesthesia or block anesthesia is used – depending on your preference.

Downtime is approximately 7-10 days. Some swelling, bronzing, and peeling can be expected, with temporary residual pinkness of the skin, lasting up to 6 weeks, although easily covered during that time, with mineral make-up.

Most significant collagen rejuvenation occurs near 90 days, with continued improvement over a 12 month duration. Results have been shown to be long-term, lasting greater than 18 months.

Low-maintenance costs due to the longevity of Portrait treatment results, as compared to RF and IPL Treatments which actually require maintenance treatments every 6 months.

Our Perisian Microdermabrasion Machine is of the highest "medical grade quality", and must be used only by trained Medical Professionals.

Medical grade equipment cannot be sold to, or used in a salon spa type setting by any non-medical professional, and is far superior in efficacy when compared to non-medical grade equipment for use in non-medical settings, such as salon spas.

The non-medical grade microdermabrasion machines that are purchased on the common market, are generally useful for very superfical exfoliation, which can generally be accomplished at a far lower cost, by using good quality, over-the-counter products which are readily available in drug stores.

Some common uses for Medical Microdermabrasion are for Acne Skin resurfacing, scar reduction, and for the removal of deeper layers of dead skin.

Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointments will be charged a "service rendered fee" of $250.00 which will be billed to the credit card on file.
