Usui Shiki Ryoho, a healing system founded by Mikao Usui in the early part of the 1900’s.
Reiki is a Japanese technique used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing and a sense of well-being. It is administered by placing the hands on the body, the client may remain fully clothed or incorporate it into a massage.
It is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us, within and around us and is what causes us to be alive. If ones' life force energy is low or out of balance then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is higher or more balanced, aligned, then we feel more relaxed, peaceful and are more capable of being happy and healithy.
