Swedish is the most common form of massage. Using long strokes and kneading movements, it relaxes the muscles and eases aches and pains. Combining it with Deep Tissue makes it a more focused massage going deeper into the muscle tissue through the use of the flat elbow, heel of the hand and forearm.

Hot stone massage is suited for people who tend to feel chilly or who have cold feet. It's also suited for people who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter pressure massage. Smooth, velvety stones are heated in water, and then glided along oiled, sore muscles. The heat relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist to work the muscles without using deep pressure. Incorporating the heated stones into your massage can bring deep tissue release, soften tension and melt your worries away. I use traditional strokes of Swedish massage while holding the heated stones.

The benefits derived from aromatherapy during a massage come in part from the contact the essential oil has on our skin, but even more so how it affects us when it's inhaled and absorbed through the soft-tissue linings of our nose and mouth.

During a massage, the touch of the therapist is combined with the mental and physical effects of the essential oils. For example: If lavender oil is applied to the temples, it is said to soothe headaches, it is frequently used as an aid to sleep and relaxation among many other things. With an Aromatherapy massage you will achieve a temporary separation from worldly worries, somewhat akin to a meditative state. Helping you reach this level of relaxation is my primary goal
